Lesson Philosophy
Every student is unique. Lessons are designed around each student's individual goals while emphasizing:
Proper fundamentals and technique
Tone production
Music reading skills
Rhythm and counting
Scales and technical studies
Solo and ensemble preparation
Jazz improvisation (when appropriate)
Confidence and musical independence
Preparation for honor bands, auditions, and college music programs
My goal is not simply to teach students how to play an instrument. I want to help them become confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians who enjoy making music for years to come.

$50 per lesson
Schedule
Lessons are held once each week.
Payment
Tuition is paid monthly at the beginning of each month.
Required Materials
Students are expected to provide:
Their own instrument in good playing condition
Appropriate reeds (when applicable), mouthpiece, strap, and supplies.
Lesson music and method books
Metronome
Chromatic tuner
Manuscript notebook
Pencil for every lesson
Additional music and instructional materials may be recommended as each student progresses.
